Luana Magazine

The Luana Magazine Project was an editorial design assignment. I chose to create my magazine on one of my favourite places, Hawaii. In this magazine, I covered topics on activities, beaches, food, accommodations and shopping. In addition, it featured top 20 snorkelling spots in Hawaii, plants and wildlife of Hawaii and  a profile on legendary entertainer Don Ho. This project required understanding the skills involved with creating a travel magazine layout.

My strategy is to attract people to visit Hawaii. I made this project special by incorporating very bright and bold colours. I included large images of the beaches and culture in Hawaii. I also incorporated colourful headings and titles.
