Wizard Of Oz

This typography assignment required recreating the fonts and cover of a famous novel. I chose one of my favourite novels, The Wizard of Oz. In this project, I had to use various font pairings throughout the book design. The fonts contained different weights and style that paralleled the genre of the book. For the book cover, I chose bold colours and applied typographical hierarchy. Also, I incorporated margins and grids to evenly align type content and illustrations.

I made this project special by using children friendly colours. I also organized the typography in the book title and used iconography to attract the children's attention and help them understand what the chapter is going to be about.
